Bimota Insurance Quotes
After surviving a crash on his Honda 750 four in 1972, Massimo Tamburini set about the construction of a tubular steel frame to cope with the horsepower being produced by the engines of the big Japanese manufacturers. This frame both reduced the weight of the original Honda and lowered the centre of gravity, giving Bimota the perfect balance of design and performance they still enjoy today.
Bimota's racing frames soon became a must have for all serious racers, and quickly altered the perception of what a motorbike should be. Today, under new ownership, Bimota restore their great heritage, with recent classics such as the DB5 confirming the commitment of the company to continuous research and development.
