Derbi began mass production of the first moped in 1949, quickly becoming successful and moving on to produce the 250cc Derbi 250 over the next 10 years. Their reputation continues to grow, helped by models such as the 125 Super in 1963, which was a robust, low cost bike for everyday riders.

After continuing to build upon its tradition, and incorporating renovation projects over recent years, Derbi commands an impressive range of scooters, performance bikes and off-road machines. The recent GP1 boosts Derbi's scooter range by offering aesthetic refinement and performance similar to higher cylinder capacity sport bikes.
